Who we are

ASGRID is an AI content platform for agencies, operated by Publicora, based in Doha, Qatar. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service at asgrid.com.

What we collect

When you sign up for a free trial:

  • Your name
  • Email address
  • Agency name
  • Agency size

When you use ASGRID:

  • Content briefs and instructions you submit to generate copy, decks, scripts, or other outputs
  • Your account activity and usage patterns (which features you use, how often, timestamps)
  • IP address and basic browser information

Technical data:

  • Cookies and similar tracking technology (used for authentication, preferences, and analytics)
  • Google Analytics or similar tools to understand how the site is used

If you become a paying customer: Payment information is processed by Stripe or a similar payment processor. We do not store full credit card details — only tokenized references for subscription management.

How we use your information

We use the data you provide to:

  • Set up and maintain your account
  • Process your content briefs through our AI models
  • Send transactional emails (welcome emails, password resets, billing notifications)
  • Understand how the product is used, identify bugs, and improve features
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Detect and prevent misuse of the service

We do not use your information for marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in. If you sign up, you’ll receive transactional messages only; you can unsubscribe from non-essential emails anytime.

How we share your information

We only share your data with service providers who help us run ASGRID:

  • OpenAI — processes your content briefs to generate outputs. Your briefs are transmitted to OpenAI’s servers in the United States for this purpose.
  • Email provider — sends transactional emails on our behalf
  • Stripe or payment processor — handles subscription payments (for future paid tiers)
  • Analytics provider — processes anonymized usage data
  • Cloud hosting provider — stores your account data and application logs

We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. If required by law, we may disclose information to comply with court orders or government requests. If ASGRID or Publicora is acquired or merged, your information may transfer to the successor.

Where your data is stored and processed

Your account data is stored on secure cloud servers. Because ASGRID uses OpenAI’s API for content generation, your content briefs are transmitted to and processed on OpenAI’s servers in the United States. If you are located in the EU, UK, or other jurisdictions, this constitutes an international data transfer. By using ASGRID, you consent to this processing.

Your rights

For all users: Right to access, correction, deletion, and export of your personal data.

If you are in the EU or UK: You have rights under GDPR or UK GDPR, including the right to withdraw consent, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

If you are in California: You have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of sale (though we do not sell data).

Data retention

  • Account data — retained while your account is active. After deletion, we retain data for 30 days then delete it.
  • Content briefs — deleted from our records after processing.
  • Transactional emails — kept for up to 180 days for support purposes.
  • Analytics data — aggregated and anonymized, retained for up to 1 year.

Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), secure authentication, and regular security audits. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact hello@asgrid.com immediately.

Children

ASGRID is not intended for anyone under 18. By signing up, you confirm you are at least 18 years old and are authorized to bind your company to our terms.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted here with an updated effective date. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email.
